Itinerary of Halong countryside day tour from halong

8am : Start your day with a pick-up from the cruise in Halong (for shore passengers ) and depart to Hoanh Bo district, after one and a half hour drive, we get to Hoanh Bo district via a flat and winding road. The location is home to Dzao ethnic group which is one of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

We first take a leisurely walk along the lush green bamboo forest for 45 minutes. Heading back to the farm. Then pick up the push bike for another bike ride through flat village paths to see the rustic beauty of endless lush green rice paddies fields, and mountains and see water buffaloes relaxing on the side of the road.

Then join the fun water-based activities. There are three activities to choose from

Sit back and relax on a bamboo rafting
Rowing SUP along the water stream
Jumping off and swimming along the stream

Having lunch with authentic local food is a local specialty of Dzao ethnic groups (A vegetarian option is available)

In the afternoon, we will get involved in day-to-day activities like collecting green tea, learning more about farming tools, how to pound rice, hand-embroidery etc…
