Option 1 : Itinerary of Halong bay fishing trip from Halong full day tour
- 8.00am : Our guide will meet you at the hotel and take a short drive to Tuan Chau Marina
- Board a traditional wooden junk and head out to the magical Halong bay, passing famous rock formations like Stone dog, Incense Burner, and fighting cock islets.
- We get to Bo Hon island, start short hiking to the entrance of Sung Sot (Surprising) cave – The most beautiful limestone caves in Halong with rock formations in various shapes (45 minutes touring
- The boat takes you to the first nearby fishing spot : You will learn how to fish with a fishing rod for 45 minutes
- Then we start cruising for another hour to head to Cua Van village area, further south of Halong bay whist lunch will be served on board.
- Arrive at the second fishing location, we will learn the traditional fishing technique that Vietnamese fishermen use. that is fishing with castnet
- Take a smaller boat for dropping net like a local fisherman do (max 4 people including boat rower)
- Our tour guide will brief how to fish.
- If you want to fish with a rod, there is a second chance for you to catch the fish
- Cruise two and a half hours to head back Tuan Chau marina. Arrive the mainland around 4.30pm to finish this Halong fishing day trip
