Why I write this Ban Sen travel guide
I tried to search Ban Sen island travel guide but it seems all the information is pretty much the same, lack of real practical experience, just copy from one page to other.

Ban Sen Island is situated located on the NorthEast of Cai Rong, 30 minutes by speed boat ride from Ao Tien International port.
Ban Sen island is known as the untouched island that is less visited by foreign tourists.

How to get around Ban Sen island
Hiring a push bike, motorbike or minibus to get around the island. I usually spend 1 hour to one and a half hours exploring the island. However if you travel on a lower pace, it may take you 3 hours to 4 hours which is half a day to see the island.

Best time to visit Ban Sen
All year round, but the best time would be from September to early November, Late March, and April.
Summertime is fine but it is super hot. The average temperature will be like 35 degrees celsius.
From 12pm to 1.30pm is the siesta time where people taking nap.
Best things to do in Ban Sen
Checking out limestone caves
They are untouched limestone cave, so that I do recommend going with a guided tour to Ban Sen because it is dark inside, you may get lost if going alone. You do need a local guide to show you around.
Enjoy sightseeing around the island
I do recommend just a sightseeing trip around the island. It is fun, quiet and nice.
Joining fishing activities with locals
You may join fishing with locals in Ban Sen, but it depends on the weather and season.
Where to stay in Ban Sen
There is only one accommodation in Ban Sen island. But only Vietnamese can spend the night here. You can choose to stay in Quan Lan island, the nearby island of Ban Sen.
Where to eat and drink in Ban Sen
There is no proper restaurant with tourist standards in Ban Sen. You may have something light like snacks, or fruits from the convenience stores

+ There is no ATMs machine in Ban Sen, so don’t forget to bring cash in VND with you ( no credit card accepted)
+ There is only one sharing speed boat ride from the island departing at 1.30pm to the mainland so you should get there in the morning, have lunch there and head back the mainland.
