If you are taking a day trip to Tam Dao from Hanoi, I recommend that you leave Hanoi around 8 am, get there around 10 am, and spend 4 hours on activities, including Tam Dao TV tower, mother godness temple, 1 hour to 1.5 hours walk around the town to see the coffee with viewpoint in Tam Dao, Stone Church, the market, on the way back you may consider to see the national park, a leisure walk for 45 minutes with a guided tour is recommended for nature lovers. There is also a place called Tam Dao bear sanctuary, which is recommended for families with kids. A morning tour is available from 9.30 am for 1.5 to 2 hours. Please contact the centre in advance to double-check the schedule and arrange a visit.

You would be getting in the car around 2 to 3 pm, and back to the hotel around 5 pm.
