Start point: Bang village

This is a somewhat unfamiliar trekking route, but to me, it is one of the easiest in terms of road conditions. The scenery is great as you are passing through rice paddies and rural village pathways. Usually, a local guide will escort you on this trek; I don’t see many independent travellers.

This route is suitable for those travelling back to Hanoi who want to see the Hieu waterfall and the surrounding village. Some tour companies offer a longer trekking route from Don village to Hieu village, a 4-hour trip. You may consider doing it because it is a medium-level trek.
